Weekend Fun

This weekend my bridesmaids and the MOB and MOG...

(Mother Of the Bride and Mother Of the Groom) :)

went with me to try on wedding dresses! It was a blast and kind of crazy as well. I have a few photos from the day (thanks Molly for sneakily taking some photos from your phone!!) however I can't post them because Steve might be reading this (hi hunny!). However.... if I decided to go with a different dress then the one in the photos, I will be sure to post them right away.

Any house news? Of course!! One of Steve's good friends Nick is in the remolding business and he is very talented! He was so kind to come over and lend a hand and giving us some ideas for our kitchen. In fact he even took some measurements of our kitchen and went to town on some design concepts on his computer for us! So without further ado....

The one with an ER visit

All in a weekends time we managed to have an awesome engagement party...

BUT on a sad note... Tovi had his first visit to the ER

He was helping us rip up the flooring and got a big sliver in between the pads on his foot... the bleeding wouldn't stop so he had to see th ER doc. Poor lil toaster oven...

Guess who won $500 to a local jewlery store?

Crazy right? Suz and I went to a Bridal Expo and I entered in a contest for the fun of it and got $500 out of it! Woo Hoo!! Hello wedding bands :)

Next on the list... I ordered my wedding DRESS!!!! About 133 days until I'm in it.

Now the Bach house... The kitchen wall has been knocked out. That is right. We have knocked down part of the wall and made the kitchen door opening wider. It's fantastic and it's already taken great form. Check out a few preview photos below:

I have started to think about all the exciting ideas that I get to come up with and use for MY wedding. Not for anyone elses wedding (which if I do say so myself... I LOVE DOING!!!) But this time, yes this time... it's for me- oh and Steve too! ;)

I sit and think and think some more about ideas.... and I honestly have TOO many that I would love to implamate. Maybe I can get Steve to agree to have 10 weddings (maybe one a year ha-ha) so I can have 10 different style weddings!! (Not really... but it reminds me of my mom wishing she could have 10 homes and decorate all a differnt style b/c she loves them all!)

This past Saturday Steve, our Moms and myself all went to check out a bed and breakfast where we are GETTING MARRIED!!!!! We also met with a cater, thought of fun quirky ideas, and had a great time!
