Proud Homeowner

As most of you probably already know, we are HOMEOWNERS!!!!!!!

It was a crazy roller coaster ride, but God has perfect timing. I just don't even know how to express how thankful I am for all the prayers from family and friends, and all the help that has been given during this ordeal. So to say it once more... THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

We have already started to work on the house. I just never thought I would be so excited to clean a toilet before. So let the cleaning begin!!

Oh and by the way, we met some of our neighbors and they told us that Saturday, expect 600+ trick-or-treaters!!! HOLLY MOLELY!

Oh and of course Tovi loves the new casa

Little Update

For all inquiring minds.... WE HAVE A CLOSING DATE!!!!!! :)

They are debating if it will be Monday the 26th or Tuesday the 27th.

Either way I couldn't be happier, and I couldn't be more thankful for all the thoughts and prayers from family and friends. I couldn't have gotten through all the craziness that we have had to deal with about this house. So THANKS!!

Also a lil wedding update. This weekend my future mother in law, my suz and myself will be attending a bridal expo and going to visit a possible venue!

Here is a sneak peek into the venue we are visiting....

Exciting... I know! :)

Kitchen Table

I might be getting ahead of myself (considering we still don't have a close date). BUT I would love to have a kitchen table like these below. *sigh*

Recessionize the Wedding Funds

We have decided to embrace the recession. From here on out our wedding will be the DIY wedding. The do-it-yourself, make it your own, spend hours staying up late to tie that last ribbon, the 255 trips to the craft store and the satisfying well earned bids on eBay kind of wedding. So this shall be fun right? Ready for the ride? WE ARE!

So...
Step One: Get engaged. CHECK!(NOTE: For the whole DIY part... we decided this AFTER Steve bought the ring. Otherwise a quarter machine, or a twist tie would have sufficed.)
Step Two: Take engagement photos. CHECK! All you need is your own camera, a tripod, a timer on the camera and for some shots a remote timer and BAM your very own engagement photos - priceless, literally.

Step Three: Coming Soon!

E Photos

It's that time! Engagement photos time!

Since we are in the process of purchasing a home, we are trying to save as much money as we can. So we opted to save on engagement photos by taking them ourselves. Say hello to an awesome camera, a tripod, a remote control timer and two people who are madly in love <---that would be Steve and I. :)

Here is a sneak peek into the session we had this past weekend.

More to come when I have time to edit them!!
