Good Friday

I can't remember how I found this video, but I really enjoyed it. I hope you do as well.

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:6-8

Today we reflect on the sacrifices made for our sins.... for his journey to the cross.

Father God, as we reflect on the pain and suffering that Jesus endured.... remind us that we have been bought with a price, and it was a costly price. Jesus laid down his life for me. Stir up in me a deeper love for your beloved son Jesus, and a deeper commitment to the one who gave his life for mine, and a glowing hatred for the sin that nailed him to the cross. Amen.

Bumper Krop. Blossoms

Indeed!
The Lord has blessed our little company tremendously thus far, and I couldn't be more thankful. I am just over the moon! Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, they mean more than you know. I really feel so lucky that God has placed an amazing friend/partner/co-owner to work with (Jen you are awesome)! Truly everything happens for a reason and God is in complete control.

We are currently working with three clients so we don't have time to work on our own brand/identity..... but we do have ourselves a logo.

Ladies and Gents' I introduce the simple yet sweet, Bumper Krop. logo.
(However we will be inverting the color to white, but for your viewing pleasure it is featured in brown.)

And  it will paired up with this lil fella...

And there my friends.... is the start of something beautiful!

Born To Be Wild

From time to time I like to think about what Heaven is going to be like.
Wonder if I'll be hanging out down by a lake with Jesus, or just singing and dancing on the streets of gold with friends and family. Well God has placed an abundance of passions on my plate, and I am so thankful.

One of my first passions is family.
My family.
The family I was raised by, and the family that I will get to raise. That is truly my number one passion and I am so grateful that I have that and am able to live and have that every single day of my life.

My second passion is animals.
All kinds.
Well... snakes are off the list. So all kinds minus snakes.... and spiders too! EAK!
Ever since I can remember I have had a love for animals. I remember being asked by my doctor at a young age... "What do you want to be when you grow up?".... "I am going to be a tour guide on an animal safari... or work with and help the animals in the zoo". I always wonder why I didn't pursue that route in my life, but then I am reminded how allergic I am to animals and know that I couldn't have survived.

Wondering the point?
(Gonna reel us back in here....)

I think when I'm in Heaven (I would like to think that) I will be hanging out with the animals and helping them whenever needed. For some reason I picture myself doing this just because I am not able to work with them while I'm here on Earth (besides Tovi, he is a hypoallergenic breed). And I would love to think that God will take that allergy away from me when I'm released from this earthy body.

Below: A preview of what makes my heart go crazy. This is my second passion... I just want to be one of those women helping rescue these orphan animals.

TT- Future

I am now switching my 'text' posts to Tuesday! Why? Well Monday is Monday, and it's manic. Then there is Tuesday, and Tuesday there is really nothing that makes us jump. Wednesday is the hump. Thursday is in prep for one more work week. Friday is Friday, thank goodness for Fridays! So the day that needs the boost is most definitely Tuesday. So say goodbye to Thursdays, and hello to the new Tuesdays.

And since I've already written on this post, I'll continue.

The passage below was given to me by my mom. It's etched on a glass block that sits on my work desk. It is a reminder that God has total and complete control. I love it. To think God has our story written out already. That is simply amazing. God planned for Steve and I to be husband and wife. He has given us hope for a family of our own one day. He knows the plans he has for us, because they are already mapped out.

Well, so far they are beautiful and I'm so thankful.

Little Things

Our home gets updated every weekend. A light fixture gets installed... an outlet cover gets put on (ha-ha)... a new space gets filled.... I love it! Why? Because my house is starting to feel like a home.

Remember this post? Well look what I got from my parents from my birthday!? It is finally nested in place and I LOVE LOVE LOVE sitting here and reading. :)

Before I had all my laundry items sitting on top of the dryer. Not any more! I found a rack that fits perfectly in between the two and it works like a charm. Also, if you can see the funny brackets and holes in the wall at the top of the photo.... yea I assume there was a wire shelf at one point in time and there were doors to cover these puppies up, but not anymore. Our entire house looked like this 'hole punched' mess. However, we plan to turn this into a huge closet for all or our winter and summer gear. Then the floors will get tiled and the laundry will be moved into the next room which will be a huge mud room, fully stocked with a dog shower and all! :) Can't leave Tovi out of the fun!

Oh and the newest addition is this heater. It will keep on us on hold until we install a fireplace! JUST KIDDING! This is a heater for outside on the deck... for summer/fall parties to keep us warm while we are sitting around with a glass of wine or a nice juicy burger in hand. This heater is the kinda thing you see at restaurants that you sit by when you dine outside.

Yes, we got it for a steal. Pretty much walked away with it for some change. Coupons are wonderful! :)
