Baby B Update

I snapped some up close and personal photos last week of my ever growing belly.

I am 32 weeks along in the photos, and everything is going well with Baby B! We had another check up and I am measuring right on, I didn't gain any weight from the previous 2 weeks (odd but it's normal), and we are just as happy as a clam! I truly have been blessed with such an easy pregnancy. Still no signs of being prego besides this big basketball in front of me. The loads of laundry (aka baby movements) have changed to waves rolling and crashing. All of a sudden I will feel a huge kick and punch (at the same time) and then the next it will be roll of movement from underneath. It is such an amazing feeling... I think in 7 weeks I am going to kinda miss it. I've had a few braxton hicks contractions (for non-prego informed it is basically just my belly gets really tight all of a sudden). Makes me well aware that the big day is right around the corner! *Smiling ear to ear right now!!*  Nursery is still being worked on every day... little by little... but I can't wait to show y'all the end result, with of course our little peanut in there!

Lovely scar above my belly button right? Ha-ha! Snowboarding mishap a while ago....

List Is Getting Shorter

So does that means the baby is coming soon then? Actually I am just on a kick to get things done and ready for the big day.

There are now 44 items (up from 40) on the list and items have been getting crossed off left and right.

1. paint nursery - thanks MIL!

2. hang crown molding

6. make crib bedding
- thanks again to the MIL for that one ;)
7. Find a crib that we like.
8. Make Christmas Tree skirt If you missed it, check it out here!
10. decorated house for Christmas
14. find a rug for the babies room - You can view here.
16. Power wash the side of the house.
32. create Christmas card and send out - WahoO! I didn't think I would make it in time, but I did! Here are a few photos that my brother took from Thanksgiving. He is an amazing photographer and I am so happy he took these for us. Also if you did not get a x-mas card from us, I apologize. Let me know if you would like one next year and I would be MORE than happy to send you one from the Bach's (family of 3+one fur puppy!)

40. Make baby sleepers.

And the most recent check off was #33. Make 2010 Christmas Card Book. I even made this years 2011, so I am on top of my game!

Next up on the list? Figuring out the nursery lighting, closet organizer and possibly even starting on the baby book! EAK! :)

31 Weeks: Prego Brain

And to its fullest! I feel like I am losing my brain sometimes. There are lists everywhere on my desk and sometimes I need a list to remind myself of another list. WHEW! Also I am a little clumsy now. Maybe the whole extra weight has tossed my equilibrium out the window. For example on Monday this is how it went....
Morning breakfast got spilled all over my desk. Lunch got spilled all over my stairs and the grape drink got mostly soaked up in my sandwich - gross. Every snack I had- all spilled (Tovi tried to help me clean up the mess- such a good dog). Dinner?.... I finally learned and I didn't even move away from the refrigerator. LOL Seriously the clumsy in me was to the T that day. I must have made at least 5 trips from my car back into the house because I was forgetting something before I left.  Heck, I'm surprise I even remembered to add detergent when doing the laundry that night. Sigh….

On a high note: Tuesday I got to enjoy a wonderful relaxing prenatal massage. (Thanks Auntie Faith!!) Oh it was divine. I highly recommend it to every Prego out there. There was tension points in my lower back and near my hips/buttock that I didn't know were being strained because of all the extra weight, until they were massaged out. Oh I can still close my eyes and feel the greatness of that moment!! :)

Another high note: The nursery glider is in full swing! G-Ma Myatt gave us this beauty for our shower! (We are so thankful!!) It's amazing and Steve likes to say it's my new bed since I’ll more than likely be falling asleep there during the wee hours of the night. Can't wait! Ha-ha! February can't come soon enough! :)

Leave your thumbprint guest sign in. (This page will make it in the baby book!!)

Lotto tickets with diaper pins to scratch off, and thank you for coming gifts!

Steve's baby cradle that his Uncle Bob made in '85!

So many gifts! Baby B is already one loved baby! So blessed!

Also Carol made the baby's bedding and gave it to us at the shower!!! It's amazing, and I feel so honored that she wanted to help me with making it. I LOVE it!

Action Shot! :)

- Nursery is painted completely thanks to my mother in law and hubby! The trim, crown, doors, closet, everything! Next is steam cleaning the carpet on Friday, finding paint that will work for the side table, sanding the dresser down and staining, and then adding all the decor!!! Here is a sneak of the room...

Tovi loves the baby's room :)

- Bumper Krop. got 2 new gigs this week!  One gig we sent in a proposal about 3 weeks ago, and was just waiting to hear back... and the second gig came out of left field and we are so happy that we get to help this company out with a new website. We feel very blessed that God is providing so many opportunities for our company to grow and still be able to be at home with our babies (well right now just my fur baby, but soon enough).

- Last but not least... Christmas is just a little more than 2 weeks away. That is NUTS! I am very excited, and still have quite a bit of Christmas shopping to do! :) Oh have I mentioned that time is flying by us? I think that might be theme of 2011. Or does it go by even quicker when you have kids? Oh goodness!!
